On Monday....
we made fresh blueberry cupcakes from the blueberry bush in our backyard
On Tuesday....
we bought a pig
On Wednesday....
we went swimming in Mimi's pool
And tonight....
It's a party for the youth group! Rap artist Tru Serva reelin' it out, a greased pig contest (don't worry--the cute little piggy will not be harmed in any way), and a game of capture the flag!
And on Friday....
Leavin' for a beach getaway with the girls in my small group Bible class.
What a way to kick off the summer.

My mom would die if she saw this.
She has a total anything-pig fetish. Piglets, Pigs, Snorts, you name it. She adores them.
And I mean, come on. Your piggy's cute. Can you blame her?
Looks like a fun time.
I love pigs (best animal ever!!) and those cupcakes looks sooooo pretty and yummy.
Oh Lord!!! From the title of your post I thought you were roasting a pig!!! LOL! So glad to hear you've brought one into your family. Enjoy!!!! ~rose
oh, the phrase "what a way to kick off the summer" evokes feelings of kind happiness for you, but pure jealously from my end... we are just going into winter here is Aus, my least favourite!! Enjoy every moment of the warm sun and enjoy those lovely homegrown blueberries!
Oh, you are so lucky!! I've been begging Shawn to get a piglet! What an awesome addition to your family!
That piggy is sooo cute! I love it! And I also love that cupcake!

Those cupcakes are making me hungry. The post about home schooling just about made me cry. I'm so happy for you. I have wanted the same thing but my husband is not on board. I love it when God answeres prayers.
Love the pig, pool and cupcakes!!! Have a wonderful weekend love!
