still here...

You would think after having three pregnancies and giving birth to four babies, I would know how to recognize when I'm in labor.  Yeah, I thought so too!  But after having contractions that were lasting longer than 30 seconds and anywhere from 4 to 8 minutes apart for three hours, it stopped.  Nothing happened.  That was it.  The end.  False alarm.  Braxton Hicks fooled me this time.

With every other pregnancy, I've rarely had braxton hicks (what's braxton hicks?  my definition: practical jokes your body plays on you with contractions that don't actually put you in labor).  I've always just started contracting and had a baby within the next 8 hours.

But every pregnancy is different.

So here I am.  And here baby still is.

And something better happen soon!
