i brush teeth

Toothbrush or Teethbrush?

Which one is really correct?

I would have never asked until I read a little children's pamphlet at the dentist's and the main character kept calling it his "teethbrush".

It makes sense!

After all, most of us have teeth and not just a tooth!

Those are cool holders. My kids mock me every morning when I'm rushed and I tell them to "go WASH their teeth and BRUSH their faces" I get it muddled every time!
