One day at a time

I'm still here, I promise!
And I've missed all my wonderful blogging friends.  I have so much catching up to do!
Right now I'm just trying to take one day at a time.
Trust me when I say one day is enough to wipe me out!
I don't know why this pregnancy has been so difficult for me so far, all my other ones were fabulous.  Yes.  Fabulous. (why are you smiling? you don't believe me?)  They really were!
Of course a healthy dose of long term pregnancy memory loss never hurt anything, right?

I've been really blah lately.  I feel so lazy.  If I thought I was behind on housework before being pregnant, well, let's just say my house is out of sight now.
It certainly doesn't help that my children are in that stage.  You know the one.  The pull-out-everything-from-every-drawer-in-the-entire-house stage.  Mmmmhmmm.  Here's what I've been doing every day:

Cleaning up after them!  And by the time I'm done picking up the 100th q-tip, I get to start all over again on cotton balls!  I know, I know, there is a smarter way to do this....but I seem to have forgotten which way that is.

I've never needed God's grace more than I do now!  And thank God that He's never short on that supply!

So, I'm taking one day at a time.  One mess at a time.  One hug at a time.  One Great Big God's strength in the times I need it the most!

I've missed you so much Joye! Take it easy, and don't worry about those q-tips and cotton balls. LOL! Seriously, I hope you're feeling better soon!

I hope the pregnancy gets easier for you! It's no fun to be wiped out. Had to laugh at that pics. I'm constantly picking up things like that! I could follow my daughter around all day long picking up after her.

It won't be long before you feel great again...in the meantime you could make putting the cotton balls back as much fun as it was taking them out and the baby will be putting them away for you.

Oh no. Baby locks on all the drawers & cabinets & doors. Those door thingys really helped us to keep rooms that we were not in out of babies reach. I also use baby gates to keep them confined to the rooms I was in.
You are at the funnest age...but not so fun when you are completely tired & pregnant.
Hope today is restful and mess free:)

Oh how the Q-tips and cotton balls harken me back to a sweet time. A time filled with violent pregnancy nausea, exhaustion, and busy toddlers! Sigh...

Now it's sassy words and driver's ed! School busses and light sabers!

Praying for you sweet friend...and sending you my love. It's good to hear from you, dear.

Oh dear...having a now toddler daughter, I can totally understand the constant cleaning up of messes. And, now that I'm almost in the 3rd trimester...I'm exhausted all over again. Praying for you, Joye!

So good to hear from you :) Don't worry about the house...it's the same for all of us...I just try to remember it's a sign that the house is filled with kids, and that's a beautiful thing! Wishing you many blessings your way :)

I am feelin' ya! I just let Jacob go from place to place making his messes and clean up when he is napping. One day at a time, one moment at a time. That is the way to do it! And His grace is more than sufficient. Isn't is wonderful!

oh dear! My dear, you need someone to be a dear and clean up after your dears. ;) I would love to help out! I remember what it was like. trying to think of tricks.. oh we had quiet play time in the play pens. we had group naps. all three took naps together. (they were baby wise babies) aaaa ... they had reading time. and then it was bed time.. no no it wasn´t that easy I am sure.. I was just trying to think of some things that might help out.

Maybe a new award will.. I am posting an award for you. I think you are so creative with your poetry!

May you find some rest and a fairy godmother.

Dear sweet Joye,

Whatever you are doing…you are great! You are taking care of a child, a set of childs :), yes, I said a set of childs, and you are carrying an new growing baby around all day, everyday! So don’t you be so hard on yourself. Get plenty of rest!

Isaiah 40:11
He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Love you!
