strawberry cupcake cones and one sensational summer

Summer, summer, here we come!
I am determined to make this the best summer ever.
I've had a few rough days weeks months lately getting up around the clock with my little Legend.  (He's waking up every hour--any suggestions??)  And that has made me blah and tired and not the most creative and fun mommy.  Well, I have decided that sleep or no sleep, I'm going to get my mommy game on and serve up some sweet summer memories.  Thad and I had a blast making strawberry cupcake cones a few weeks ago.  It was super easy and super yummy.  We'll have to make some chocolate ones next.  And then we'll have to do everything that's on our summer fun list at least two times...

What are your summer plans?
I'm always looking for more fun activities!

Awwww.....those sound like really fun things to do!! My plans this summer with the girls are to explore Houston! There's so much I've never been to and never seen, many things that are free too, so that's what I plan to do!

Oooh those do look yummy! My summer to do list is rather boring; I am aiming to sloooow down and let each day come at me. I've been living in the fast lane a little too much

Oh I hope Legend gets better about sleeping. I will pray! I also have a list of fun things to do this summer. One is trying to do weekly picnics at the park for family night. They have been great! Enjoy the summer.

Wow - I love your list and cupcakes!! It's winter here in NZ so we are cozy around the fire and making the most of any days that aren't raining!

Hope your bubba settles... my 4th was a shocker in the day but good at night. She lived in a sling for the first 6 months.

I will pray your little bundle of joy starts sleeping. It isn't a pretty sight when I don't get sleep.

Where do I find that recipe?

That's a great list of fun things to do! And those cupcakes look yummy!

One thing we know we're gonna do this summer is go to King's Island. I won't get to ride anything so that'll be a bummer.

SO sorry you're having difficult nights with Legend. :( I'll sure be praying that it gets easier! Wis I had some advice for ya.

Sounds like you're gonna have an awesome summer! Wish we could go outside without melting here in my neck of the woods. :)

We moved to DC in January and were expecting to be here about a year, so I had lots of cool things planned... Until we found out that we are moving to Mexico City! Next month! Plans change fast, so make sure to get lots of fun things done while you can!

Those cupcakes look so good! I never think to make strawberry cupcakes! New craving-thanks! And making a summer list is a great idea. Im all over the place and cant remember half of what i planned to do!

Have you tried the baby swing-full speed-like he'll fly out if not buckled in? We did that on a couple of rough nights and got a few extra hours. It was on a video someone recommended to us-happiest baby on the block. It didnt answer all problems, but I'll bring it by maybe some of the suggestions will help. So sorry you are still having so much trouble. I didnt realize he was up that much! I would be a real crankie meanie with that little sleep!
