we went on a thrifting date

my fave thrift finds from the weekend
There is no faster way into this gal's heart than to take her thrifting.  For a date.
Cranking up Larry Norman and trying to sing "If the bombs fall, baby I love you" with a straight face.  Cruising around in our swagger wagon in the pouring rain.
Stealing kisses at stoplights.
Remembering why we like each other so much.

Spending an hour in the books section.
He gets me.
He even mapped out our route.
He really loves me.

It was bliss.
A heavenly dessert of a day.
Dinner at rock-n-sake sushi was a big fat cherry on top.

He's a dream.

This is Jeanne Marie, I saw you today at church, you precious girlie girl! Just happened upon your blog, finally, so cool- and I need to know if you wrote the sweet, I'm gonna call it a "poem" up top? If so, I am pure lovin it, and will get your first book of'em, if not, well…., still lovin it. It's late, I'll have to visit again at a later time- we love yall!

Ah, the book section. That's the first place I head. Yay for dates that are planned by the husband who knows exactly what you like.

this is like things my husband and i do together, little adventures that are BIG fun! I saw some of these on instagram, glad to see more!
(i found a olive green thermos just like the orange one you have here, but I didn't get it because I didn't understand the big thing inside? do you know what i'm talking about? when you unscrew the top, it's attached to this sort of big ol' silver piece??) anywho just wondering! LOL
